I graduated from UM- Saint Louis with a B.S. in Special Education and Elementary Education. I attended graduate school at UM-Saint Louis and have my Masters in Secondary Education with an emphasis in TESOL (Teaching of English for Speakers of Other Languages). I am currently working on my doctorate at Southwest Baptist University (SBU) in Leadership Education. This is my eleventh year teaching at Spoede Elementary and I could not ask for better students and staff. I enjoy every moment that I get to spend here.
I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in Fuxin, China and Taiwan. My favorite passion in life is traveling. I have traveled to China several times and have seen over thirty provinces. I have also been to Taiwan, Thailand, Mexico, Canada, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, and almost all 50 states. I hope to some day travel to all seven continents.
