Writing - friction books, comprehension, deeper meaning, retell, story elements, being about to answer questions.

Second Grade

Math- place value to the hundreds, as well as adding and subtracting larger numbers
Reading- working on adding “voice” to when we read
Writing- opinion letters about our favorite books, characters, etc.

Chinese New Year Celebration, February 19th

The Spoede had a lion dance troupe come and start the celebration of Chinese New Year!
